The Dead Sea Comes To Life
Overnight Tiyul to the Dead Sea
Sunday & Monday, 26 - 27 February 2012

On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter. Zechariah 14:8

The Dead Sea just reached the finals in the global competition for natural world wonders. Although it did not make the top 7, it is definitely a wonder worth exploring and is full of contrasts: A sea with no life, an oasis boasting flora and fauna, a forbidding desert environment and flourishing communities in the past and present, an industry that kills the lake and gives life elsewhere. On our two-day tour, we will visit archaeological sites (among the most important in Israel), nature reserves, industries and agricultural communities that prove how much life there was and is around the Dead Sea.
