Municipal Affairs-Moshe Shamir 12 noon to 1pm, every Monday & Thursday
At 15 Herzl Street, Moshe is available for AACI members to help solve problems with local council “arnona” and National Insurance.
Moshe speaks several languages and has been particularly active in ensuring the success of the Russian and Ethiopian immigrant influx into Netanya over the past decade. He is the founder of and president of This Land Is Mine Olim Fund, which based out of the Netanya AACI gives aid to the needy in the form of monthly food vouchers and Scholarships to students.

We offer counseling on Olim Rights, Mortgages, Citizenship, Customs, Army Service, Banking information, Retirement, Kupat Holim, Housing, Personal Status, Israeli Taxes, Ulpan, Bituach Leumi, Education and Employment.

Requests for loans and mortgages, available from the North American community and administered by the AACI, are also processed through the counselor.

Colin Keyes
is a social worker for the elderly, with 40 years’ experience in England and Israel.He specializes in initiating and managing welfare projects and is a facilitator between the client and the establishment.    He has extensive connections with the Anglo-Saxon community in Netanya and is aware of the difficulties of language and culture that are faced.Colin will be volunteering for two hours each week at our offices.  He will try to deal with problems such as social work issues; interpreting letters in Hebrew and taking necessary action; as a contact with health, welfare and caring services and with the suppliers of utility services; issues relating to Bituach Leumi; financial problems and consumerism and seniors' rights and benefits. Issues that can be resolved fairly speedily will be dealt with free of charge.   However, a charge will be made if further action is required.
