Volunteer Opportunities

The following positions are available at Beit Oleh America Netanya AACI:

Salesperson for Advertising Department We would like to strengthen our
team in the advertising department. We are looking for someone who can
reach out to new customers in upcoming areas of Netanya and can help us
develop advertising on our website. Time commitment: two hours once or twice a week, it doesn’t have to be on specific days. Some spoken Hebrew is essential.

Technical Assistant Help is needed to set up an overhead projector and sound system.
Time commitment: according to programs approximately one morning and evening per month.

Office Assistant Help with designing flyers and graphics. Must be familiar with Word and maybe other graphic programs. Time commitment: two hours once or twice a week.

Forum Masters Our plans to start a Netanya forum connected to our website are well underway. The forum needs monitoring and we are looking to strengthen our team of volunteers to help share this responsibility. Applicants must be computer literate and have access to a computer and the internet. Time commitment: Variable, work from home

Kitchen Help for evening programs to help with putting out and clearing away refreshments.
Time commitment: Occasional, one or two evenings per month

Phone Callers to contact Netanya AACI members, by phone, during our annual campaign.
There will be an instructional meeting with a light lunch for our team of phone callers at 11.30am on Wednesday 26 October. To join our team of phone callers, please leave your name and phone number/cell phone at the front desk, for the attention of Ruth Resnick, Campaign Chairperson.

The volunteers are the heart and soul of Beit Oleh America Netanya AACI.

All our departments are manned by volunteers who give wholeheartedly of their time, energy and patience. The management committee and our many other committees are all comprised of volunteers. In addition to helping run the organization we also need volunteers for our outreach programs including helping with English lessons and home visiting.

Whatever your skills and experience we can find something for you to do. The English speaking community of Netanya has a great tradition and reputation for its volunteering and contribution to the greater Netanya community. We will also direct you to other volunteering opportunities in Netanya.

Beit Oleh America Netanya AACI publishes a monthly magazine, with updates on programming, social events, articles of interest and advertisements. The newsletter is distributed to all our members.
