Finding Long
Lost Relatives & Shoah Survivors
Coffee And….10.30am Sunday 16 November
A joint lecture with the Netanya Genealogical Society.
Patricia (Trisher)
Wilson was born in London and made Aliyah in 1993 with her family. Her
interest in genealogy began while sorting through her late father's
possessions. She found a suitcase containing hundreds of photographs, many
faces of people she could not identify.
Thus began her search into "unknown" family. Her success has been
outstanding and although she is still searching her own family roots she has
decided to help others, particularly Holocaust survivors, find their lost
families too.
The
Netanya Genealogical group
of the
Israel Genealogical Society
resumes activities after summer's
recess. We plan to hear a report on the 28th IAJGS International conference
on Jewish genealogy
held
in Chicago during August.
The
genealogy members' library will be open from 7.30 pm
Members of the IG: no charge, visitors: NIS.20.
