The newly refurbished Gura Family Memorial Library holds over 6000 books and is one of the main attractions at our centre.

The books are mainly paperback fiction and ensure that our members always have a good read on hand.

The library is staffed totally by volunteers and is open Sunday to Thursday morning 8.30am to 12.30am.

Gura Family Memorial Library Update

This has been a terrific year for the Gura Family Memorial library at the Netanya AACI. We appreciate the ongoing generous financial support from the
Sol & Esther Gura Memorial Fund of the Los Angeles Jewish Foundation. The book donations from members have been absolutely wonderful. Our readers have had the opportunity to read almost every best seller, thanks to your generosity. We have so many interesting and exciting books on our shelves now, just waiting for you to read!We received a donation of over 460 audio books (books on tape) to add to our members' enjoyment and Zvi has built more shelves on which to store them. Since becoming computerized we have had to increase our volunteer staff and we now have 18 librarians.Every month we have a Library Forum where a speaker reviews a particularly interesting book he or she has read. We hope many more of you will come to enjoy these events. We have also hosted two Book Exchanges where members bring books and for the princely sum of NIS 5 can exchange them for others they wish to read. We will be holding another Exchange in December. On behalf of the Library Staff and myself, I wish you all a healthy and happy New Year!
