Golf Career Experiences

Mark Bloom was Ireland’s “wonder boy”, as he competed and nailed each amateur golf competition in his age range. His work ethic
culminated in a victorious triumph in the Ulster Boys Championship of 1966, with full international honors. By 1970, the Irish Amateur Close Championship invited Mark to appear in this prestigious event. His golfing expertise propelled him to fame in golf circles, and his future looked promising as a noted professional in his field. However, after a car accident, he became a golf teacher and was a qualified member of the European Golf Teachers’ Association. He is now involved in a successful golf therapy program for people, and especially children, with special needs. There are now two such schools in Argentina and two in Uruguay. Although he lives in Hadera, he travels to Netanya almost every morning to play dominoes at Nitza Café.
Throughout July and August, our Coffee And… program will be simultaneously in person and online through Zoom. Due to Corona virus regulations the number of participants allowed at our premises is limited.
Please pre-register at the Box Office for each session and let us know if you are joining us in person or on Zoom.
