Evelyn Klaff Art Display
November 11 - December 20
New Art Exhibition
On Display from 11 November to 20 December
Evelyn Klaff was born in Cape Town, South Africa where she completed all her studies and taught for 43 years – mainly Maths and History which were her majors but she has taught 12 different subjects in her career. She also completed a travel course, a Teaching English to Foreigners course as well as 9 years’ training to become a Reiki master.
Evelyn only started painting in 2013 after she no longer taught full time at a school. She made Aliyah in February 2017 and did not paint for the year that she was in Ulpan. She then joined a class at the Young Israel Shul with Sandra Catalove as her teacher where she paints once a week whenever possible. She first started painting nature, Table Mountain, flowers and then moved on to impressionism. Thereafter she painted Impasto (three-dimensional) works in oil with a palette knife and she has now moved on to abstract art. She hopes you will enjoy seeing her varied styles and how her art has evolved.
