Guiding Foreign Diplomats in Israel and Palestinian Controlled Territory

10.30am Sunday 13 December

Joshua Koonin was born in South Africa and grew up in Sydney, Australia. Before making Aliyah Josh worked for and on the campaigns of senior ministers in the Australian government including a former Prime Minister. On arrival in Israel, he initially pursued work related to politics.  He developed International Political Seminars which continues to guide senior political figures, foreign diplomats, journalists and lay leaders (as well those simply interested) on political visits in Israel as well as Palestinian Authority controlled territory. In addition to meeting Israeli leaders, military officials, diplomats and other influencers, Josh’s work has taken him to Ramallah to meet senior Palestinian officials on dozens of occasions and to Bethehem, Jericho, Nablus, Jenin and other PA controlled cities.

While International Political Seminars is Josh’s main endeavour, he is also a licensed Israeli tour guide and now runs a second company, Pizazz Israel Tours, which focuses on traditional tourism.

Josh will share with us his experiences of accompanying diplomats in Palestinian controlled territories.
