Making Sense of Israel’s Elections – What’s Next?

Guest Lecturer: Elliot Jager

Sunday 28 April 8.00 pm.

Almost three weeks after the elections (and plenty of time during Pesach to mull over the results), Elliot Jager will enlighten us as to what we have learned from the elections and what our expectations of the new government might be.

Dr Elliot Jager lectured in Political Science and worked for the New York City government for 23 years before making Aliyah.

He is a past editorial page editor at The Jerusalem Post (where he worked for 11 years), former Jewish World editor at The Jerusalem Report, founding managing editor of Jewish Ideas Daily (Mosaic) and a former staff editor at Newsmax.

His 2017 book, The Balfour Declaration Sixty-Seven Words – 100 Years of Conflict told the story of what is arguably the most crucial political letter of the 20th century.

His current project is an authorized biography of a prominent international Jewish figure.

He is an experienced presenter and has given lectures to many Jewish organizations in England and the USA and we look forward to hearing his expert analysis of the new status quo. Photo credit: Ariel Jerozolimski.
