Dan Allina-Turnauer has been an Osteopath for 11 years. He changed his career following a sports-related brain injury after which he received successful treatment from a very capable osteopath. Osteopathy began in the United States in 1874 and was founded as an extension of allopathic medicine. It is a model of medicine that looks at the whole body and incorporates the use of anatomy and physiology to help the body heal itself. At times it seems that “Osteopathy solves
problems you don’t know you have in ways you will not understand” because it looks for the source of the problem and treats that as well as treating the pain. Problems such as back pain, whiplash and carpal tunnel syndrome are commonly treated by osteopaths. Dan treats these problems but specializes in treating expectant mothers, postpartum women and babies. Dan is a life-time AACI member who made Aliyah in
1990. He has lived in Netanya since 1995 with his wife Esti, who is an EFT practitioner, and they are parents of four sons.
