Pluralism in Israel

Guest Lecturer: Noah Slepkov

8.00pm Sunday 2 February

Noah Slepkov will give an in-depth quantitative look at the attitudes, beliefs, and practices of Israelis across a wide range of issues which define Israeli society. Based on public opinion surveys conducted over the past five years, the lecture will focus on opinions towards pluralisms and explore how various segments of Israel’s population relate to each other.

Noah is a Fellow at the Jewish People Policy Institute (JPPI) in Jerusalem where he is editor of the pluralism index and head of the big data project. He also is the owner and operator of NZS Consulting and the co-founder of IsraelElections.co.il. Noah specializes in public opinion surveys, data analysis, and data visualization.

Previously, Noah served as Foreign Policy and Strategic Advisor to Member of Knesset Dr. Einat Wilf.  Noah holds an Honors BA in Jewish Studies from York University and an MA in Government from the Lauder School of Government at the IDC Herzliya. He also studied Economics at the University of Toronto and Political Science at the University of Western Ontario.  Prior to immigrating to Israel from Canada in 2008, Noah worked on campuses across Canada organizing Jewish student events and leading Israel advocacy efforts.
